Commercial hydro jetting in Santa Ana
Hydro jetting sends water at very high pressure through a nozzle that cleans the inside of the pipe in every direction. It removes what a cable leaves behind: grease, soap scum, sediment and root fibers on the pipe wall.
When jetting beats snaking
Use a cable when a line is blocked by something soft and one-off. Use jetting when a line clogs repeatedly, when grease has built up over months, or when roots and sediment keep narrowing the pipe. Restaurants, bakeries and mixed-use blocks are the usual jetting customers.
Old blocks, shared lines
Many Santa Ana and Old Towne Orange buildings have original or early-replacement drain lines. A camera before jetting shows whether the pipe can take pressure, and which tenants share the lateral.
What we do on a jetting visit
We scope the line to see the blockage, set the nozzle and pressure for the pipe material, jet from the cleanout toward the main, and recheck flow. If the camera shows a broken or collapsed section, we stop and tell you, because jetting a damaged pipe makes things worse.
Signs it is time to call
- The same line has been snaked more than once this year
- Grease builds up in kitchen or interceptor lines
- Floor drains smell or drain slowly
- A shared lateral backs up into a neighboring tenant
- You are preparing for a city or district inspection
What happens when you call
- Camera scope of the line to find the blockage and check pipe condition.
- High-pressure jetting from the cleanout, working toward the main.
- Flow check and a short written summary, with a recommended jetting interval.
Questions
Is hydro jetting safe for older pipes?
Often, but not always. We scope first, because a cracked or collapsed pipe should be repaired, not pressure-washed.
How often should a restaurant jet its lines?
It depends on volume and menu. Many kitchens start with a quarterly schedule and adjust after seeing how fast grease returns.
Do you offer emergency jetting?
Yes. Choose the emergency option on the estimate form for 24/7 emergency service.
